The Jewelryosophy 360 Podcast 16: Preparing for the Next Generation of Jewelry

On today's show, we'll talk with Travis Kukovich. Travis is the owner of William Travis Jewelry, a fifth-generation metalsmith and the son of Polish immigrants.

He started his own metalsmithing business out of his garage and now operates a storefront of more than 2,000 square feet.

But his journey has been anything but easy. An accident in early childhood left him unable to read and write, while a showdown with breast cancer threatened his life in later years. He has nevertheless used these experiences to empower him on his journey. Travis has been recognized with many industry awards and has used his platform to advance causes including women’s empowerment and a living wage.

Special thanks to the sponsor of today’s show, Brightech. Brightech makes magnifying lamps that are perfect for jewelry makers. You can check out my unboxing video and more at jewelryosphy360.com/bright.
