The Jewelryosophy 360 Podcast 9: Using Your Jewelry To Tell Your Unique Story

On today's show, we'll talk with Jeanette Caines of Jewelry Arts Inc. Jeanette is a director, instructor, and author who has appeared on the PBS/Nova Special Treasures of the Earth: Metals. What started as a hobby years ago turned into Jeanette teaming up with investors to support her very own arts studio where today, she's able to work within a community that inspires other artists and the broader New York art and museum scenes.

At Jewelry Arts Inc, students can learn to make beautiful pieces in a semi-private setting while being encouraged to grow and explore their creativity. They teach all the skills and techniques any student would need to create amazing pieces.

In this show, we talk about how she went from student to studio owner, how to make a living doing what you love, the importance of storytelling in jewelry making, and how she approaches commissioned sales.
